Summer

Like a song, I have many moments.

My life blooms, grits, softens and explodes.

It is full of

light,

wind,

fire.

I have now invited earth to join me, metal and water charging my energy.

In harmony,

I perceive.

I am becoming a woman, blossoming like a lilly.

Or a carnivorous plant, ready to devour the meat of life.

Electricity builds in my loins,

the creation of a goddess.

My source is the sea, there in the water, I float in bliss.

A bee is in the water.

It is drowning.

With its dying breath I hear its buzzing call.

I am allergic to its venom,

but many things are poisonous in this world.

Gently pushing to the shore, it crawls drunkenly on my finger.

Without fear, I observe its tiny body of fuzz.

As it dries on a leaf,

my anchor to Mother nature

thus set.
